The Pennsylvania Young Democrats are the official youth wing of the Democratic Party. Our members are registered PA democrats from age 18 to 40.
President - Megan Winters
Megan graduated in 2014 from Duquesne University with a degree in Political Science and Sociology. She currently resides in Pittsburgh, where she is the Executive Director of the Allegheny County Democratic Committee. In addition to being active in the Pennsylvania Young Democrats, she is also the Vice President of the Allegheny County Young Democrats, the Secretary of the Steel City Stonewall Democrats, and the Finance Chair for Pittsburgh's New Leaders Council chapter. The issues that matter to her most are women's rights, LGBT protections, fair and free access to the polls, and campaign finance reform. Executive Vice President - Matt Pianka
Matt Pianka is a lifelong resident of Harrisburg, Pa. He began his political career at 6 weeks old when his dad took him door-to-door to introduce him to uptown voters when he was running for District Judge in 1987. Matt has been politically active ever since working on local and statewide campaigns. National Committeewoman - Kelly O'Donnell
Kelly currently serves as the National Committeewoman on the Executive Board of PAYD. She brings a diversified skill set to the organization, which she acquired while fulfilling roles in government relations and fundraising at the local, state, and federal levels. A Pittsburgh native, she works hard to give back to her hometown, which she credits for her strong sense of community and service. In addition to pursuing equality for all, you will also find Kelly exploring the city's cafes for the perfect cup of coffee. Kelly graduated in 2011 from Ohio Wesleyan University with her B.A. in Politics & Government. She is a firm believer of equality across the board - income inequality, LGBT rights, women's rights. Treasurer/National Committeeman - Stephen Rudman
Stephen Rudman is an election lawyer from Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He is 31 years old and graduated from Franklin & Marshall College and Temple University Beasley School of Law. The issues that matter to him most are ballot access and marriage equality. Follow him on Twitter.
Women's Caucus Chair - Danielle Pantalone
Danielle graduated from Penn State University in 2010 with her undergraduate degree and from George Mason University in 2012 with a Master of Public Policy degree. She spent several years working as a Legislative Assistant and Press Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives while living in Washington D.C. She and her family moved back to where her husband grew up, Harrisburg, PA and I am now the Director of Stakeholder and Media Relations for a communications firm. She has a daughter, Eleanor, who was born in August, 2015 and a goldendoodle puppy named Stabler. The issues that matter to her most are women's rights and healthcare.
